Aspect: Gold, bright. Very fine and regular bubbles. Nose: Endless farandole of delicious fragrances. The radiant aromas of candied red and black
fruits, barely spicy, harmoniously mingle with fragrances of white flowers,
apple, pear and citrus fruits, characteristic signs of the meeting inspired
of the 3 champenois varietals. |
Palate: Heady vitality thanks to the selection of the first juices during the
pressing of the grapes (cuvée) and
to the adjusted dosage with only 4 g/L of sugar added. Sensual balance, highlighted by elegant woody notes obtained by the passage
in oak barrels of 50% of the base wines, and reinforced by the long ageing of
the bottles on laths. With this cuvée Excellence, Eric
Loriot and his son Pierre-Etienne offer us a remarkable interpretation of the
noble terroirs of the Marne Valley. |
