Aspect: Gold, brilliant. Fine and regular effervescence. Nose: Radiant complexity, punctuated by spices, between
aromas of red fruits, white fruits, and nice ripe exotic fruits, result of
the inspired blending of the varietals, with a majority of Pinots (45%
Meunier, 35% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir) carefully harvested by hand in
2012. |
Palate: Generous balance at the opening, between joyful vitality, reinforced
by the low dosage (a bit of sugar added at disgorgement) and the delicious
roundness, characteristic sign of the maturity obtained by 6 years of ageing
on laths of the bottles. With this Brut Millésime 2012 Premier Cru, Alexandre
Cattier signs a touching interpretation of the 9 best terroirs of the Champagne house
Cattier, most of them from the Crus of Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses and
Rilly-la-Montagne. |
