Located in Vertus, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, the Champagne House of Paul Goerg is a brand of the cooperative winery La Goutte d’Or, which groups 110 passionate wine growers over 120 hectares of planted vineyards. It produces Champagne Premier Cru, characteristic expressions of Chardonnay.

notes of candied pear and apple, walnut, hazelnut and white flowers (acacia)

Left to breathe, you are rewarded with gentle notes of
butter, brioche, grilled caramel, almost toasted, an expression of the good maturity
of this Champagne, obtained by lengthy ageing sur lattes before
disgorgement

a moderate dosage with 9g/L of sugar added at disgorgement

The result of carefully
blending 70% of the base wines from 2007 and 30% of the reserve wines, this
Brut Blanc des Blancs Premier Cru reveals good balance, great finesse, which delivers
a beautiful image of the Chardonnay cultivated on the noble terroir of Vertus. A superb
reward for Jean-Philippe Moulin, Chef de Cave of the Champagne
House of Paul Goerg.
Drink as an aperitif, accompanied
by avocado and prawn verrines, or during a meal with Sole a la meunière.
