Aspect: Gold, coupled with coppery glints. Effervescence of a rare finesse. Nose: Radiant and sensual. The outstanding finesse of the Chardonnay,
exclusive varietal of the champagne, with its fragrances of white fruits,
citrus fruits and white flowers, is enhanced by generous aromas of honey and
pastries, signatures of the maturity of the wines from 2013 and 2016 harvests
(in equal parts). |
Palate: Magnificent minerality at the opening, the one of
the chalk of the Grands Crus of Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des
Blancs, underlined by the timely stop of the malolactic fermentation of the
base wines. The mouth becomes roundness thanks to the ageing
in oak casks, with bâtonnages of
50% of the base wines. With this cuvée
Extase and its extra brut dosage, Didier Dzieciuck signs a rare champagne. To discover absolutely. |
