Mythical Champagne
Great Cuvées of
Champagne Tasting Selection
Brand’s flagship bottle.
Aspect:
Salmon
coloured.
Bubbles
of a rare finesse, brilliant.
Elegant
corolla of bubbles.
Nose:
Sensual,
it takes us into an endless aromatic symphony.
The
Pinot Noir (70%) selected in the villages of Ambonnay, Bouzy, Mailly-Champagne
and Verzenay in the Mountain of Reims, with its radiant scents of spices and
red and black fruits, softly interlaces the Chardonnay (30%, from Avize, Oger,
Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Chouilly, in the Côte des Blancs) and its elegant
touches of quince and candied citrus fruits.
Later,
the Champagne unveils its joyful maturity, obtained thanks to 9 years of
patient ageing on laths of the bottles before disgorgement, with its
captivating scents of cocoa and roasted coffee.
Palate:
Dense
opening, highlighted by the vibrant minerality of the terroirs of origin, exclusively classified as Grands Crus.
The
mouth becomes sensual, ample, supported by a meltingly soft structure.
Deep
and rich finish.
Fabulous
length on the palate.
With
this Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2006, rarest cuvée
of the House, Loïc Dupont, cellar master of the Champagne House Taittinger, was
able to compose the harmonious blending of 15% of red wine from Bouzy and 85%
of white base wine, to offer us an unforgettable interpretation of the warm
year 2006.
Great Champagne
wine, it is the ideal partner for gastronomic meals, with a duck magret roasted
with mango, for example.
Under the
leadership of its Charismatic Chief Executive Officer Pierre-Emmanuel
Taittinger and his children, Vitalie and Clovis, assisted by a young and
dynamic team, the Champagne House Taittinger, major independent family
Champagne House, continues its international development. Based on its vineyard
of 288 hectares, cultivated with the real desire to reduce the environmental
footprint, it produces highly expressive Champagnes, with Chardonnay as
leitmotif.
