Traditional, luxurious and neat presentation.
Aspect:
Amber.
Fine bubbles.
Delicate bead of foam, persistent after the Champagne
service.
Nose:
Intense and generous.
Farandole of candied red and black fruits, sensual and
endless, punctuated by soft spices, definitely the signature of the majority of
Pinot Noir, with 65% of the white base wines, and 100% of the red wines
produced with nice ripe grapes, carefully selected, from ancient low yield
plots of the Grand Cru of Aÿ (localities Côte Pelle and Chauffour).
The Chardonnay (35% of the white base wines) is then slowly
unveiled, with notes of exotic fruits and citrus fruits.
Palate:
Deep and dense attack, underlined by the vibrant minerality,
reinforced by the selection of the purest juices during the soft pressing of
the grapes harvested by hand.
The mouth becomes caressing, creamy balance highlighted by
the delicious fruity fragrances, definitely thanks to the judicious fulfilment
of the malolactic fermentation of the base wines and to the patient ageing on
laths of the bottles before disgorgement.
Tasty finish, barely spicy.
Great length on the palate.
With this Cuvée Rosé, Laurent and René Roger were able to
find the harmonious blending between Crus, varietals, years (70% from 2013 and
30% of reserve wines) and wines (12% of red wine and 88% of white wine), to
offer us a high level traditionally blended Champagne rosé and with a very good
value for money.
To taste from aperitif to meal, with a chicken with
lemongrass and ginger, for example.

historic capital of the Champagne area, the Champagne House René Roger
perpetuates the champenois traditions
since 1876. René Roger and his son Laurent (12th generation) cultivate with
passion their vineyard of 8 hectares composed of 75% of Pinot Noir and of 25%
of Chardonnay, mainly established in the Grand Cru of Aÿ, to produce each year
with talent around 33,000 bottles of a touching range of authentic Champagnes.
