Nose:
Brilliant
and endless aromatic universe, generous characteristic sign of the solera
(continuous blending of the base wines) started in 1982, enhanced by the best
wines from 2013 (40%).
The
Chardonnay, exclusive varietal, illustrates the full extent of its elegance
with aromas of apple, pear and candied citrus fruits, mirabelle plum and dried
apricot, driven by an iodized, mentholated and subtly toasted breath.
Palate:
Magnificent
vitality, reinforced by the rigorous selection of the first juices (cuvée), purer, during the soft pressing
of the grapes, and by the minimalist dosage with only 1 g/L of sugar added
after disgorgement.
The
mouth becomes gentleness, ample and harmonious, supported by the bright
minerality of the chalk of the Grand Cru terroir
of Chouilly and underlined by the delicate effervescence.
Lively
balance at the end, between joyful freshness and roundness, punctuated by
spices.

length on the palate.
With this Champagne 82/13 - Grand Cru - Blanc de
Blancs - Extra Brut, Jean-Pierre Vazart signs a rare champagne: the Grand Cru
of Chouilly revealed by the alchemy of over 30 vintages.
To taste as an aperitif or during a meal, with
lobster cannelloni and tarragon, for example.
The Champagne house Vazart-Coquart & Fils
cultivates with passion its 11 hectares vineyard in the Grand Cru of
Chouilly, in the Côte des Blancs, certified High Environmental Value and
Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne and in the process of conversion to
organic viticulture since 2017. Jean-Pierre Vazart, composes each year since
1995, in the modern facilities of the house (press renovated in 2015 and
fermenting room in 2016), around 70,000 bottles of highly expressive champagnes,
marketed under the brand created by his grandfather in 1954.
