Aspect Gold, dense and bright, driven by fine bubbles. Nose Sensual complexity, outshined by the Pinot Noir (77%) harvested by hand
in 2013 in the Grands Crus of the Mountain of Reims (Aÿ-Champagne, Bouzy,
Mailly-Champagne and Verzenay), highlighted by the Chardonnay (20%) from Avize
and by a spark of Meunier (3%) chosen in Venteuil. |
Palate Radiant presence, initially shy and then confident, fruity and structured at once, supported by the minerality and enhanced by the heady and promising maturity, obtained by 8 years of ageing of the bottles on laths, before riddling and disgorgement. With this cuvée William Deutz 2013, Caroline
Latrive, new cellar master, has been perpetuating with Michel Davesne the
legacy of excellence of the Champagne house Deutz. |
