Aspect Golden and brilliant. Nose The aromas of red and black
fruits reveal the generosity of the majority of Pinot Noir (90%), selected in
2012 in the terroirs of Aÿ,
Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay and Bouzy, subtly spicy and underlined by a spark of
citrus fruits thanks to the Chardonnay (10%) from the Côte des Blancs (Avize and
Le Mesnil-sur-Oger). |
Palate Vertiginous presence at the opening, highlighted by the minerality of the chalk of the Grands Crus of Champagne and reinforced by the adjusted dosage with 6 g/L of sugar added at disgorgement. With this cuvée La Grande Dame 2012 proposed by
Didier Mariotti, cellar master of Veuve Clicquot, Yayoi Kusama pays tribute
to Mrs Clicquot, grande dame of the Champagne. |
