Aspect: Golden and
brilliant. Bubbles of a
rare finesse. Nose: Refined
and endless elegance. The Chardonnay, carefully harvested by hand in
2011, patiently unveils its delicate scents of apple and pear, deliciously
iodized and mentholated, underlined by sensual toasted touches provided by
the 7 years of ageing of the bottles on laths. |
Palate: Joyful vitality at
the opening, outstanding prelude to the magnificent minerality of the chalk
of the 13 Grand Cru plots of Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the Côte des
Blancs. Remarkable
presence, underlined by heady aromas of white flowers. With this Millésime 2011 Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, Pierre Gonet, wine grower, offers
us a touching champagne, in the pure style Philippe Gonet. |
