Guide VERON des Champagnes 2018
(around 27 euros per
bottle)
Harmonious and luxurious
bottle.
Aspect:
White gold.
Fine and festive
bubbles.
Elegant bead of bubbles.
Nose:
Heady from the first
nose, it takes us into an endless whirl of rare emotions.
The Chardonnay (40%) and
its delicate touches of apple and peach compote, enhanced by a mentholated
breath and punctuated by notes of white flowers, gently interlaces the majority
of Pinot Noir (60%) and its scents of red and black fruits punctuated by
spices.
Later, the nose reveals
a gentle warmth with aromas of honey and pastries, expressions of the radiant
maturity of the Champagne, obtained by 6 years of ageing on laths of the
bottles before disgorgement.
Palate:
Fresh opening thanks to
the adjusted dosage with only 6 g/L of sugar added at disgorgement, supported
by a seductive minerality.
The mouth becomes
caressing sensual and deep, with flavours of vanilla and almond, highlighted by
a life-giving breath and captivating woody notes, definitely obtained by the
vinification and the ageing of 20% of the base wines of Pinot Noir in oak
casks.
Tasty finish.
Very great length on the
palate.
For this Millésime 2009,
Sébastien Tribaut was able to blend with talent three original terroirs of the Champagne House Tribaut
Schloesser (Ecueil, Romery and Fleury-la-Rivière), to offer us an inspired
interpretation of this beautiful year 2009.
To taste as an aperitif,
but especially during meals among friends, with a free-range chicken breast and
truffles, for example.
Established in Romery,
in the Marne Valley, the Champagne House Tribaut Schloesser has been
perpetuating the family traditions since 1929. Now directed by Sébastien
Tribaut and his brother Valentin, fourth generation, the House cultivates with
passion its vineyard of 20 hectares. A gentle and accurate œnology, with ageing
of a part of the base wines in oak casks, gives birth each year to around
250,000 bottles of highly expressive Champagnes, largely reserved for
exportation.
