Aspect:
Golden, radiant.
Dynamic effervescence.
Nose:
Radiant, between elegance and generosity.
The scents of
white fruits and citrus fruits gently interlace the gourmet and subtly
roasted touches, signatures of the Chardonnay harvested nice ripe in the two
most beautiful plots of the wine estate (« Les Champs Hérard » and « Les
Fêteux »).

Palate:
Magnificent
tension, reinforced by the minimalist dosage with 3 g/L of sugar added
during the dosage.
The mouth takes
us, supple and creamy, thanks to the ageing of a part of the base wines in
oak barrels for 9 months, and to the long ageing of the bottles before
riddling and disgorgement (5 years).
With this cuvée Les Champs Fêteux Premier
Cru, Joffrey Billiard signs a brilliant interpretation of the Premier Cru terroir of Avenay-Val-d’Or.
